NABLUS, August 23, 2018 (WAFA) – At least two Palestinians Thursday were injured after being attacked by Israeli settlers near Zaatara Israeli military checkpoint, south of Nablus, in occupied West Bank, said security sources.
Sources told WAFA two Palestinians, aged 20 and 23, were admitted into Rafidia hospital in Nablus after being attacked by Israeli settlers while they were present near the said checkpoint. Both youth sustained light injuries.
Meanwhile, other settlers from the illegal Israeli settlement of Yatzahar stormed the nearby town of Urif, to the south of Nablus, during the early dawn hours and slashed the tires of several cars belonging to Palestinian residents in the area. No injuries were reported among the residents.
