GAZA, July 27, 2026 (WAFA) - The death toll from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip on Monday surged to 73,329 civilians, according to medical sources.

They said that the total death toll in the Gaza Strip climbed to 73,329, mostly women and children, and the casualties to 174,009 since the onset of the genocidal aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023.

They added that in the last 24 hours, the bodies of three slain Palestinians and 12 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.

Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 11, 2025, Israel has killed 1,203 Palestinians and injured 3,900 others.

The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
