RAMALLAH, July 27, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday seized a house under construction in the village of Deir Ammar, west of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said the villager’s house is located on the western outskirts of the village, near land that colonists had recently seized.
Deir Ammar has been subjected to repeated attacks by colonists seeking to seize its land as part of a systematic policy aimed at expanding colonial outposts in the area.
Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.
Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.
Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
