JERUSALEM, July 27, 2026 (WAFA) — Several Palestinians, including women and elderly residents, were injured on Monday evening after Israeli colonists, accompanied by Israeli forces, attacked residents of the Bedouin community of Al-Ara'ra near the Jaba' roundabout, north of occupied Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli soldiers, stormed the community and severely beat residents, causing multiple injuries.
The governorate added that Israeli forces prevented Palestine Red Crescent Society ambulance crews from reaching the community during the attack.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society later said its crews were able to treat two Palestinians who had been assaulted by Israeli colonists before transferring them to hospital.
The attack comes amid an escalation in assaults by Israeli colonists targeting Palestinian communities in and around occupied Jerusalem, often under the protection of Israeli forces.
