RAMALLAH, October 16, 2017 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy and occasionally rainy while temperature remains three degrees Celsius lower than the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

A chance of scattered rain showers accompanied with thunderstorms is expected on some areas, especially in the north of the country to spread to the rest of the country by the afternoon and night.

Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the center of the country is expected to reach the low 20s in the day time and mid-teens at night. The Jordan Valley is in the low 30s to low 20s and Gaza in the mid to low 20s degrees Celsius.

Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to clear. Temperature is expected to rise to its annual average.

Clear skies are expected to prevail on Wednesday. A further rise in temperature is expected, approaching two degrees Celsius above the annual average.

PMD warned people about low horizontal visibility, potential flooding in valleys and low areas and and the possibility of sliding on roads.
