RAMALLAH, September 6, 2016 (WAFA) – The Muslim Al Adha holiday starts Sunday morning in Palestine and ends Thursday night, government spokesman Yousef al Mahmoud said on Tuesday.
All government institutions, banks, schools and most of the businesses will be shut down for the duration of the holiday.
Holiday prayer will be held in mosques around the country and at Al Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem at 6:55 Monday morning, said the grand mufti of Palestine Mohammad Hussein.
Al Adha coincides with the annual Haj to Mecca.
