RAMALLAH, March 6, 2026 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas held a phone call on Thursday evening with the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman.
President Abbas conveyed his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing him good health and continued security and stability for the Kingdom and its people.
During the call, the President affirmed the State of Palestine’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia, stressing rejection of any aggression that violates its sovereignty or threatens its security and stability.
He also reiterated Palestine’s condemnation of Iranian attacks targeting Arab countries, while condemning Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
President Abbas further expressed the Palestinian people’s full solidarity with the Saudi people and their support for all Arab efforts aimed at protecting Arab states and safeguarding their security in the face of attacks that constitute a violation of international law.
He emphasized the importance of dialogue as a means to address regional and international crises.
The President also praised Saudi Arabia’s firm and supportive positions toward the Palestinian people, commending the strong fraternal relations between the two countries and the need to continue coordination and consultation to confront current challenges.
