Israeli forces detain 25 Palestinians, including two children, across the West Bank

RAMALLAH, Thursday, March 21, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today and last night detained 25 Palestinians, including two children and former prisoners, during military raids across the occupied West Bank according to Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission and the Palestinian prisoner society (PPS).

PPS and the Commission said that at least 7,725 Palestinians were detained by Israeli occupation forces during military raids across the occupied West bank since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7.

The Commission and PPS said in a joint statement, that Israeli forces continues its systematic detention campaigns against the Palestinian people in the West Bank, which escalated in an unprecedented way after the 7th of October.

They said that this toll includes those who were rounded up during military raids at their homes, through military checkpoints, or those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure.

The detention camapings were concentrated in the Hebron and Jerusalem governorates, while the rest of the detentions were distributed among the Ramallah, Nablus, and Bethlehem governorates.
