Israel to demolish a  Palestinian prisoner’s house near Jenin

JENIN, Wednesday, February 23, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities today issued a notice of demolition order against the house of the prisoner Omar Jaradat, from the town of Silat al-Harithiya, west of the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.

Asad Jaradat, the prisoner's brother, told WAFA correspondent that the occupation authorities did not specify in the notification date for the demolition of the house, noting that the HaMoked, an Israeli human rights organization, will submit an appeal to the Israeli Supreme Court against the demolition decision.

On December 19, the occupation forces arrested the two brothers Omar and Ghaith Jaradat and later detained their mother, Etaf Jaradat.

The occupation forces also demolished the house of the prisoner Mahmoud Jaradat in the town of Silat al-Harithiya two weeks ago and issued a decision to demolish the house of the prisoner Mohammad Jaradat next Thursday.

The Jaradats are charged with killing an Israeli in the West Bank in December.
