BETHLEHEM, September 8, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists began expanding a colonial outpost established on lands of the village of Al-Maniya, southeast of Bethlehem, this evening.
Ahmed Kawazbeh, head of the Al-Maniya village council, told WAFA that large trucks were seen transporting materials to set up additional mobile homes at the outpost, which was established some time ago in the Jabal al-Qarn area, adjacent to homes belonging to the al-Jabareen family.
Kawazbeh said colonists from the Jabal al-Qarn outpost have escalated their repeated attacks against the al-Jabareen family, including opening fire, raiding their home, destroying their water network, and stealing water tanks.
He added that several days ago, the colonists expanded the outpost's boundaries by seizing additional land and fencing it off.
