TULKARM, September 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Monday night raided the headquarters of the Central Zakat Committee in the Irtah suburb, south of Tulkarm city, and detained several Palestinians from the Gaza Strip who were inside the building, according to eyewitnesses.
Eyewitnesses told WAFA that an Israeli military force comprising around seven military vehicles and a truck raided the suburb and deployed around the building before storming it, smashing and ransacking its contents.
The witnesses added that Israeli forces detained several Palestinians from the Gaza Strip who were inside the building and took them to the truck.
The forces continued to deploy in the area and tightened restrictions around it, while the exact number of detainees remained unknown.
