HEBRON, September 7, 2026 (WAFA) – A fourteen-year-old Palestinian child was injured by Israeli occupation forces’ gunfire on Monday evening in Hebron city, according to local and medical sources.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets at the child during a raid into the Sheikh neighborhood in the city center, hitting him in the left foot. The child was transported by a Palestine Red Crescent ambulance to Hebron Governmental Hospital, where his injury was described as minor.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint in the Bir Al-Hummus neighborhood of Hebron city, where they searched Palestinians’ vehicles and checked their identification cards.
