Israeli occupation forces raid Jalazone refugee camp in Ramallah, provoke confrontations, detain 10 people
Israeli forces detaining Palestinians in the occupied territories.

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided early today Jalazone refugee camp, north of Ramallah, provoking confrontations with residents and detaining 10 people, according to Palestinian security sources.

They said camp residents confronted the Israeli soldiers and that one youth was injured in the face during the confrontations. He was taken to hospital.

The army left the camp after detaining 10 people ranging in age between 15 and 35 years.

Elsewhere in the West Bank, soldiers detained seven Palestinians during a raid of Arroub refugee camp in the Hebron district in the south after raiding their homes and ransacking them, according to Palestinian security and local sources.

In Beit Fajjar village, south of Bethlehem, also the south of the West Bank, soldiers detained a 16-year-old boy at a checkpoint on the outskirts of the village after he was stopped and interrogated.

In the north of the West Bank, two youths were detained in the towns of Jaba and Anza, south of Jenin city. Soldiers raided their homes and detained them, said local sources.
