RAMALLAH, Saturday, May 04, 2019 (WAFA) – The Palestinian government called on the United Nations (UN) to promptly intervene to stop the Israeli aggression on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The government, in a statement, expressed its grave concern over the Israeli escalations against the Palestinian people in the strip, including the targeting of civilians, and the shelling of Gaza’s infrastructure, which it stressed aim at keeping the Strip in a constant state of confusion in order to impede reconstruction efforts and disrupt the launching of development projects there.
The government condemned in the strongest terms the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip, calling on the UN to shoulder its responsibilities and intervene immediately to stop it and provide protection for the Palestinian people.
