RAMALLAH, June 16, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department said that weather conditions on Tuesday will be generally clear, with temperatures expected to rise. Winds will be light to moderate, shifting from southwesterly to northwesterly, while sea waves will remain low.
During the evening and nighttime hours, the weather is expected to remain generally clear and moderate in most parts of the country, with light to moderate northwesterly winds and slight sea waves.
On Wednesday, conditions will remain generally clear, with hot weather in mountainous areas and extremely hot conditions elsewhere. Temperatures are expected to remain unchanged.
A drop in temperatures is forecast on Thursday, although conditions will remain relatively hot in mountainous areas and hot in the rest of the country.
Similar weather is expected on Friday, with relatively hot conditions in mountainous regions and hot weather elsewhere, while temperatures will see no significant change.
The Meteorological Department warned citizens against prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., and urged the public to refrain from lighting fires in areas with dry vegetation.
