RAMALLAH, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Monday evening vandalized the main water supply line of Umm Safa village, northwest of Ramallah, according to a local official.
Marwan Sabbah, head of the village council, said that colonists sabotaged the main pipeline supplying water to the village as they razed a tract of the villagers’ land to lay the groundwork for the construction of a colonial road between Umm Safa and the nearby village of Deir As-Sudan.
Sabah explained that the village has become surrounded by colonial outposts from all directions, denying the villagers’ access to their farmlands and turning the village into a target of a scheme intended to forcibly displace the villagers.
