JENIN, November 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces withdrew on Wednesday morning from the eastern neighborhood of Jenin after a raid lasting around six hours, during which they detained more than 20 Palestinians, including women. Most of those detained were former prisoners.

Local sources and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society said Israeli forces raided the homes of several former prisoners early Wednesday and detained dozens of residents. They subjected them to field interrogations inside a resident’s home in the al-Bayader neighborhood, which had been turned into an interrogation center.

The sources added that Israeli forces threatened those detained before releasing them shortly before withdrawing from the area.
