BETHLEHEM, November 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces on Wednesday prevented Palestinians from harvesting olives in the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem.

Tuqu' Municipality Director Taysir Abu Mufreh told WAFA that Israeli forces attacked Palestinians in the al-Buq'a Plain area near the town's western entrance and opened fire. No injuries were reported.

He added that, at gunpoint, the forces forced the olive harvesters to leave their land.

Israeli forces and colonists have escalated their attacks on olive harvesters in recent days, including opening fire, forcing farmers off their land, seizing harvesting equipment, and arresting Palestinians.
