HEBRON, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday demolished several Palestinian- owned homes, agricultural barracks and a water well in the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, according to a local activist.
Activist against colonial settlement activity in southern Hebron, Osama Makhamreh, told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed an area in the village of Al-Karmil, east of Yatta, and demolished two agricultural barracks, each measuring 1,000 square meters.
Forces also demolished two stone-and-tin homes owned by two brothers, which were home to 15 people.
Israeli forces further demolished a concrete wall and a 120-square-meter stone-and-tin home. The home housed 10 people.
Around 20 fruit trees were also uprooted during the demolitions.
In the Ma’in area of Al-Karmil, Israeli occupation authorities demolished a house under construction and a 130-cubic-meter water well, and uprooted several fruit trees owned by a local resident.
