RAMALLAH, June 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists have continued, for more than a week, extensive land-leveling works in the Batin al-Halawa area, north of Sinjil town, north of Ramallah, according to local sources.

Sources said that bulldozing operations are still ongoing in the area, coinciding with the gathering of colonists in the Mada area, amid fears of renewed attacks against Palestinian residents and their properties.

A state of tension prevails in the area, amid calls to strengthen the presence of citizens to monitor developments and support residents in confronting any potential attacks by colonists.

In a related context, Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Mughayyir village, north of Ramallah, and deployed across several of its neighborhoods, with no reports of detentions or home raids.
