UPDATE (3): Three Palestinians killed in protests along Gaza borders

 

GAZA, April 27, 2018 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians died of serious gun wounds sustained on Friday as Israeli forces attacked Palestinian protesters on the fifth consecutive Friday of the Great March of Return protests along the northern and eastern borders between Gaza and Israel.

A Palestinian who was identified as Abdel-Salam Baker, 29, was killed after being shot by Israeli army, as the latter attacked protesters to the east of Khan Younis city, south of the Strip.

Meanwhile, the second Palestinian was identified as 21-year-old Mohammad al-Maqeed, whereas the identity of the third Palestinian remains unknown until the moment.

According to the ministry of health, at least 611 Palestinians were injured, including two severally critical cases, either by live gunfire or suffocated from teargas inhalation.

Eleven medical personnel and journalists were among the injured.
