JORDAN VALLEY, August 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists overnight plowed dozens of dunums of Palestinian agricultural land in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.
Human rights activist Aref Daraghmeh said colonists cultivated around 50 dunums of uncultivated farmland near the village of Ein al-Sakut, land that Palestinian farmers usually plant with rain-fed crops each year.
The northern Jordan Valley has witnessed an intensifying wave of colonist attacks against Palestinian residents and their property, including physical assaults, livestock theft, and the sabotage and looting of water networks.
Since last summer, three Palestinian communities in the northern Jordan Valley have been entirely emptied due to colonist violence, while several other families were forced to leave their homes under similar pressure.
