HEBRON, February 20, 2016 (WAFA) - Israeli forces Saturday physically assaulted a Palestinian father and his son before detaining the latter in the Old City of Hebron in the southern West Bank.
Witnesses told WAFA that while the son, ‘Izzat Jaber, was walking through the Old City’s neighborhood of Jaber, Israeli soldiers stopped and detained him.
Jaber’s father, Ishaq, reportedly approached the soldiers to inquire about his son, when soldiers began beating them with their booted feet and rifles’ butts.
This brought the number of Palestinians detained since early Saturday to two.
