JORDAN VALLEY, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities issued an order Monday to drill a groundwater well in the northern Jordan Valley for the benefit of the Israeli water company “Mekorot.”
Head of the Al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, said the planned well will reach a depth of 600 meters and will be located on privately owned Palestinian land in Khirbet al-Hadidiyah.
He added that the occupation will seize a plot of approximately 1.5 dunums of land belonging to residents of Tubas in order to carry out the drilling.
