RAMALLAH, August 30, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces tonight raided the town of Turmus Ayya and the village of Deir Jarir, in Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.

Local sources said that occupation forces raided Turmus Ayya and set up a checkpoint at one of its entrances, obstructing the movement of citizens and vehicles.

The forces also raided Deir Jarir and searched a home, while Israeli terrorist colonists entered the vicinity of citizens' homes on the outskirts of the village, amid heightened tensions in the area.

The villages and towns north and east of Ramallah are subjected to repeated raids and attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers.
