TULKARM, August 30, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today notified Ayman Ajaj, a resident displaced from Tulkarm camp, of the demolition of his home in al-Mahdawi neighborhood in Shuweika suburb, north of Tulkarm city.
Local sources said that Ajaj was forcibly displaced from Tulkarm camp amid the ongoing Israeli aggression against the camp, only to face, following his displacement, a demolition notice for the home he had built in Shuweika to shelter his family, under the pretext of lacking a building permit.
The notice comes as the Israeli occupation's aggression against Tulkarm city and its two camps continues for the 581st consecutive day, accompanied by the forced displacement of residents, the destruction of homes and infrastructure, and the seizure of homes and their conversion into military barracks.
