LONDON, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) - Ambassador of the State of Palestine to the UK, Husam Zomlot, welcomed the statement by the U.K. and 25 international partners calling for an immediate end to Israel’s aggression on Gaza.
“The time for strongly worded statements has long passed. Israel will not stop this genocide unless compelled,” he said in a post on X.
“And it will only be compelled when met by international action: A full arms embargo, comprehensive sanctions, accountability for war crimes and crimes against humanity, and the immediate recognition of the State of Palestine.”
