JEDDAH, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) - The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will hold an emergency meeting of the Executive Committee at the level of Permanent Representatives tomorrow, Tuesday, July 22, 2025, regarding the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and the targeting of holy sites in the occupied Palestinian territory, particularly the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron.

This meeting comes amid an unprecedented humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip as a result of the ongoing crimes of genocide, starvation, and displacement committed by the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, and the escalation of Israeli attacks on places of worship.

The meeting aims to explore mechanisms for Islamic and international action to stop the aggression, coordinate political and diplomatic efforts to defend the rights of the Palestinian people, and confront the repeated violations of the sanctity of Islamic and Christian holy sites in the occupied Palestinian Territory.
