JORDAN VALLEY, July 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Extremist colonists opened fire Monday evening at a Palestinian citizen while he was herding his cattle near his tents in the northern Jordan Valley.
Resident Kenan Faqha told WAFA that several colonists got out of three vehicles and fired shots at him while he was grazing his cattle near his tents in Khillat Al-Hamma area in the northern Jordan Valley.
He added that this is part of an ongoing policy of pressure aimed at forcing them to abandon their grazing lands and leave the area.
Since last summer, more than 20 Palestinian families have been displaced from their homes in the northern Jordan Valley due to escalating attacks by colonists. Three Palestinian communities in the area have been completely emptied of residents as a result, while families from other communities continue to leave for the same reason.
