GAZA, May 21, 2025 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Monday evening in a series of Israeli airstrikes targeting multiple areas across the Gaza Strip.
Local sources reported that two civilians were killed and several others injured after Israeli warplanes struck a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Qadisiyah area west of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza.
In Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, a woman, identified as Ibtisam Khaled Dawwas, was shot and killed by an Israeli sniper inside her home in the Beshara neighborhood.
Sources also reported casualties among members of the Shaath family after their home was targeted near the Rafah garage area in central Khan Yunis. Ambulance crews reported facing extreme difficulties reaching the site due to the continued Israeli shelling.
The ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 59,029 people, mostly children and women, and the wounding of 142,135 others.
This figure remains incomplete, as many victims remain trapped under the rubble and in the streets, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams due to the relentless shelling and massive amount of debris.
