RAMALLAH, July 22, 2025 (WAFA) – The State of Kuwait has reaffirmed its strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip, describing it as a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, particularly Resolution 2417, which condemns the use of starvation as a method of warfare.
In an official statement issued late Monday via its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and reported by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Kuwait denounced the grave and brutal crimes, including the killing of civilians seeking food.
The Foreign Ministry stressed the urgent need for the international community and the Security Council to fulfill their legal and moral responsibilities and work to ensure the implementation of UN resolutions, lift the blockade imposed on the people of the Gaza Strip, allow the immediate entry of humanitarian aid, and halt the genocide and systematic starvation of the Palestinian people.
