NEW YORK, October 15, 2026 (WAFA) – The United Nations Security Council will hold on Thursday its quarterly open debate on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question.
The UNSC will hold the debate at the request of the State of Palestine to call for immediate action and practical measures to provide international protection for the Palestinian people, amid the dangerous and rapidly escalating attacks by Israeli occupation forces and colonists, and the targeting of Palestinian cities, villages and refugee camps.
These attacks threaten Palestinians’ lives, security, and property and push the situation towards further deterioration and instability.
