RAMALLAH, September 19, 2026 (WAFA) —Israeli forces continued their attacks on southern Lebanon, targeting towns, residential areas, and civilian and healthcare facilities, amid incursions and military movements in several border areas, according to the National News Agency.
On Friday, occupation forces set fire to the Mays al-Jabal Government Hospital in the Marjeyoun District, an attack targeting a civilian health facility. The Lebanese Ministry of Health condemned the burning of the hospital, describing it as a flagrant assault on a health institution that ought to be shielded from such attacks.
In the town of Deir Mimas (Marjeyoun District), occupation forces have established a temporary observation post at the town's outskirts, while sound bombs have been reported in the surrounding area.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also continued shelling several areas across southern Lebanon.
