JENIN, June 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian young men during raids carried out in the Jenin area, north of the occupied West Bank, in the early hours of Friday, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society.
The organization said Israeli forces detained Wael Mazen Sammar from the town of Al-Yamoun, west of Jenin, after raiding and searching his family home.
It added that Ali Lotfi Turkman, a resident of the Jenin refugee camp, was also detained after Israeli forces raided his place of residence at the housing complex of the American Arab University.
The detentions came amid ongoing Israeli military incursions across several areas in the northern occupied West Bank.
