BEIRUT, May 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Lebanon's Public Health Ministry announced on Saturday that the cumulative death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 3,123 killed and 9,506 injured.
The Emergency Operations Center at the ministry said the figures cover the period from March 2 through May 23.
The ministry also reported that 25 members of the medical, nursing, and administrative staff at Hiram Hospital in the Tyre district were injured in Israeli strikes that targeted the immediate vicinity of the hospital.
Meantime, Lebanese media reported that 10 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes targeting the town of Sir al-Gharbiya in southern Lebanon.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army issued warnings to residents of several towns in southern Lebanon, including Mahmoudiyeh, Mleekh, Shbeil, Qatrani, Houmine al-Fawqa, Nabatieh al-Tahta, Kfar Tibnit, Zibdine, Arabsalim, Kfar Remman, Habboush, Blat, Deir Kifa, Harouf, and Jibsheet.
Israeli warplanes and artillery also carried out attacks targeting the cities of Tyre and Nabatieh, in addition to the towns of Mansouri, Houmine al-Fawqa, Kafra, Froun, Zibdine, Jibsheet, Kfour, Mahmoudiyeh, Toul, Doueir, Maaroub, Harouf, al-Bazourieh, Burj al-Shamali, Ain Baal, Blat, Deir Kifa, Qasmiyeh, Habboush, Yater, Majdal Selm, Shabriha, Shaabiyeh, Zebqine, Qabrikha, and Housh in southern Lebanon.
