RAMALLAH, October 14, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian olive harvesters on Wednesday morning in the town of Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah.
Local sources reported that a group of colonists attacked harvesters in the northeastern part of the town, attempting to prevent them from picking olives and engaging in acts of intimidation and provocation.
The sources added that local residents confronted the colonists and forced them to leave the area toward a settlement outpost established in the town’s plain.
At the end of last year, colonists established an outpost in the Turmus Ayya plain. Israeli bulldozers later carved out a settler road linking the outpost to the Shilo settlement, built on the town’s land, after uprooting more than 2,000 olive trees.
