Gaza, December 9, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources announced on Tuesday that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,366, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.

The same sources explained that the number of injuries has risen to 171,064 since the start of the offensive, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams.

They indicated that one new slain person and six injuries were taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.

The total number of fatalities and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2023, has reached 377 and 987 wounded, with 626 bodies recovered.
