GAZA, December 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources announced today that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,365, the majority of whom are children and women, since the start of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023.
The same sources explained that the number of injuries has risen to 171,058 since the start of the offensive, while a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue teams.
They indicated that five slain people (three new deaths and two whose bodies were recovered) and 11 injuries were taken to Gaza Strip hospitals in the past 24 hours.
The total number of fatalities and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11, 2023, has reached 376, 981 wounded, and 626 bodies have been recovered.
