TEL AVIV, May 19, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli Security Cabinet approved a new plan to build a separation wall along the eastern border with Jordan.
According to the Israeli Army Radio on Monday, the plan includes strengthening the occupation's control over the Jordan Valley through the establishment of settlements and training camps.
The plan, presented by the Israeli Ministry of Defense, includes "the establishment of a multi-layered 'defense' system along a 425-kilometer stretch, from the southern occupied Syrian Golan Heights to the city of Eilat in the south."
Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz stressed the need to complete the project quickly.
