GAZA, May 17, 2025 (WAFA) — Four children were killed and seven others injured today in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli warplanes struck residential homes in the camp, resulting in the killing of at least four children and injuries to seven others.
In a separate incident, several civilians were wounded in an Israeli airstrike that hit a home in the Al-Mahatta neighborhood in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 53,272 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 120,673 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
