JERICHO, May 17, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Saturday stormed the Al-Auja waterfall community, north of Jericho and began grazing their sheep within the community.
Hassan Malihat, general supervisor of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights and Targeted Villages, told WAFA that colonists stormed the community, under the protection of occupation forces. Local residents observed them close to Bedouin tents and dwellings.
He further said that these attacks come in the context of escalating violations against Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, aimed at displacing their residents from their lands for colonial expansion.
