GAZA, May 16, 2025 (WAFA) – Medical sources reported Friday that the death toll from Israel's ongoing military aggression on Gaza has climbed to 53,119, the vast majority of them women and children, since October 7, 2023.

The number of injuries has also risen to 120,214.

According to the sources, 2,985 Palestinians have been killed and 8,173 injured since March 18, 2025, when the Israeli occupation resumed its aggression following a ceasefire agreement.

In the past 24 hours alone, 109 bodies were brought to Gaza’s hospitals, including one recovered from under rubble. An additional 216 injured civilians were hospitalized.

Since dawn today, at least 93 Palestinians have been killed amid relentless Israeli bombardments and massacres.

The sources indicated that many victims remain buried under debris or scattered along the roads, as emergency medical and civil defense teams continue to face insurmountable challenges in reaching the affected areas.
