GAZA, May 15, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian civilians, including women, were killed on Thursday evening in Israeli airstrikes that targeted homes and tents sheltering displaced families across the Gaza Strip.
According to WAFA correspondents on the ground, 32-year-old Mohammad Khaled Al-Hams and his 28-year-old wife Basant Naji Al-Hams wer e killed when Israeli warplanes bombed a tent sheltering displaced people in the Tiberias camp area of Al-Mawasi, west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
The couple was pulled from the wreckage by emergency crews and transported to Kuwait Specialized Field Hospital. Several others were wounded, many critically.
In another airstrike, three more Palestinians were killed, and dozens were injured when a residential home belonging to the Al-Agha family in the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, was struck.
Further north, two people were killed and others, including children, were injured in a strike on a home in the Al-Amoudi area of northern Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 52,928 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 119,846 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
