Israeli colonists set up tents on Palestinian lands east of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, May 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists began setting up tents in the Minya desert, east of Bethlehem.

The head of the Minya village council, Zayed Kawazbeh, told WAFA that a group of colonists had begun setting up tents on lands in the Nasb Abu Diya area, for colonial purposes.

Kawazbeh added that the Minya desert, which includes the areas of Fateh Sadra, al-Tina, Hajjar, Wadi al-Abyad, Nasb Abu Diya, and Rabia, had previously been subjected to repeated attacks by colonists under the protection of occupation forces.

These attacks included the erection of tents in most areas, as well as attacks on farmers and shepherds, including the firing of live ammunition and tear gas canisters.
