Israeli forces detain eight Palestinians in Tulkarm and Nablus

TULKARM, July 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained eight Palestinians during raids in the northern occupied West Bank early Sunday, including six from the Tulkarm governorate and two from the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources said Israeli forces detained former prisoner Wadie Mohammad Hadid, 23, after raiding his home in the Dhnaba suburb east of Tulkarm.

Israeli forces also raided several homes in the nearby town of Deir al-Ghusun, ransacked their contents and detained four local Palestinians, the sources added.

Meanwhile, Palestinian security and local sources said Israeli military vehicles stormed several neighborhoods of Nablus, where soldiers raided and searched homes, vandalized their contents and detained two Palestinians.

Israeli forces carry out frequent detention raids across the occupied West Bank, regularly storming Palestinian cities, towns and refugee camps.
