BETHLEHEM, July 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinians, including a 17-year-old child, during raids in the Bethlehem governorate, south of the West Bank, on Sunday.
A Palestinian security source told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the village of al-Rashaida, east of Bethlehem, and detained 34-year-old Ismail Mohammad Ali al-Rashaida after storming and searching his family's home. Soldiers also raided another home and ransacked its contents.
In the town of Nahalin, west of Bethlehem, the family of 17-year-old Mohammad Ghassan Najajreh reported him missing before later learning that Israeli occupation forces had detained him while he was outside his home.
