Israeli forces detain 35 Palestinians from the West Bank

RAMALLAH, January 14, 2025 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces detained at least 35 people, including former detainees, and siblings, in the occupied West Bank during the last 24 hours.

The Detainees and Ex-Detainees Commission and the Palestinian Prisoner's Society said in a joint statement that the detention operations were concentrated in the cities of Nablus, Salfit, Jenin, Tulkarm, and Hebron, accompanied by widespread raids and abuse, assaults and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to vandalism and destruction of citizens' homes.

They pointed out that the occupation continues to carry out field investigations of dozens of citizens in several towns, detaining them for hours and releasing them later.

PPS and the Commission affirmed that, the total number of Palestinians detained in the occupied West Bank since October 7th has risen to over 11,000. This figure includes those detained from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under pressure, and those taken hostage.
