Israeli authorities issue demolition notices against 13 Palestinian homes near Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, December, 30, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities issued a decision todayto demolish 13 homes belonging to one family in the town of Anata, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the occupation ordered the Al-Fuhaidat family to evacuate 13 of their homes within 12 days, noting that the homes threatened with demolition belong to brothers and cousins ​​from the Al-Fuhaidat family.

It is noteworthy that the Al-Fuhaidat family has been living in this area since the 1950s, and it is a small gathering of the Al-Fuhaidat family adjacent to the occupation camp, and the family has been living in these homes for decades before the camp existed.

Earlier today, the occupation forces stormed the town of Al-Issawiya, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, and notified a number of homes and facilities of demolition.

Since the start of the comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023, the occupation authorities have carried out more than 433 demolition and bulldozing operations of homes and facilities in the Jerusalem governorate.
