GAZA, October 12, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 74,382, with 175,416 people injured, since October 7, 2023.

Medical sources reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received five fatalities and 18 injured individuals over the past 24 hours; the fatalities included four newly recorded deaths, while the bodies of two others were recovered.

The sources added that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 1,493, with 5,299 injuries, while the total number of recovered bodies stands at 836.

They further noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as ambulance and rescue crews are unable to reach them.
