NABLUS, October 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation bulldozers uprooted more than 200 ancient olive trees today, Monday, in the village of Al-Lubban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
WAFA correspondent reported that occupation bulldozers raided the "Al-Sur" area east of the village and uprooted over 200 fruit-bearing olive trees before the owners could harvest them, thereby depriving them of the harvest season.
He added that occupation forces closed the village's main entrance, forcing residents to take detour routes to reach it.
It is noteworthy that, since the start of the olive harvest season, the occupation has prevented residents from accessing their trees and harvesting the fruit in the Wadi Abwein area (southwest of the village) and the Wadi al-Sha'er area (north of the village).
